Donate to Von Terra Project
Your contribution to The Von Terra Project is more than a donation; it is a direct investment in a safer, more resilient digital world.
DonateThe Von Terra Project strives to bridge the gap between people, policy, and technology to connect communities, build cybersecurity resilience, strengthen preparedness, optimize response, and fortify our collective defenses against emerging challenges.
Your support transforms this mission into action by:
Bridging the Gap for the Vulnerable:
Our Digital Footprint & Communal Defense Program gives under-resourced nonprofits, small businesses, and individuals access to the security guides, self-assessment tools, and vetted resources they need to defend against digital threats that could otherwise devastate them.
Connecting Communities:
Your funding supports our Certification and Mentorship Programs, which pair candidates with experienced professionals and cover the cost of exam vouchers and study materials, building the people who “fortify our collective defenses.”
Empowering Future Leaders:
Donations directly support CyberHERo, bridging the gender gap in technology by fostering mentorship and opportunities for women in cybersecurity.
Strengthening Preparedness:
Contributions fund our Grant Initiative and the educational materials that help civic groups “optimize response” before a crisis hits, not just after.
Help us build a digital shield for everyone.
By donating today, you are securing the infrastructure of our collective community.
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Give to VTP, or to one program
You can support The Von Terra Project as a whole, or earmark your gift for a specific program. A designated gift is used for the program you name. That is a commitment, not a preference we weigh against other needs.
To designate a gift, either name the program in the comments field of the donation form below, or use that program’s own donation page where one exists. Our programs are:
- [P1] Cybersecurity Certification Program
- [P2] Cybersecurity Mentorship Program
- [P3] Professional Development & Engagement
- [P4] Grant Initiative
- [P5] Digital Footprint & Communal Defense
- [P6] CyberHERo (has its own donation page)
Undesignated gifts go to the organization and are applied where they are most needed. If a designated program closes or cannot use a gift as intended, we will contact you before applying it elsewhere.

Donation Disclaimer
All donations made to The Von Terra Project are final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. Undesignated contributions are used for the stated purposes in alignment with our mission, and we reserve the right to apply them where they are most needed. Contributions that a donor designates for a specific program, including gifts made through the donation page for that program, are used for that program. If a designated program closes or cannot use a gift as intended, we will contact the donor before applying that gift elsewhere; where the donor cannot be reached, the Board directs it to the closest available purpose.
Tax-Exempt Status Disclaimer
The Von Terra Project is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 33-2041628). All donations are deemed tax-deductible absent any limitations on deductibility applicable to a particular taxpayer. Please consult your tax advisor about your own situation.

Our Privacy Policy sets out exactly what we receive when you donate, what those companies do, and your rights over it.
Receipts & Acknowledgments
We do not provide goods or services in exchange for contributions unless we tell you otherwise at the time of your gift. You receive an emailed receipt for each donation; for contributions of $250 or more, that written acknowledgment states the amount of your gift and confirms whether any goods or services were provided in return, which the IRS requires you to hold in order to claim a deduction. If you designated your gift for a program, the acknowledgment names that program.
